Fishing holidays in Essex at Homestead Lake Park

Whether you’re a keen angler or a complete novice, there’s something for fishermen (and wannabe fishermen) of all abilities at our park.

Homestead Lake is a popular choice for fishing holidays in Essex and boasts a large, well-established coarse fishing lake at the centre of our park.

There’s plenty of fishing to keep you hooked! Try and hook a monster carp, perch, tench or roach at one of the main pegs located around our mature lake. Fishing starts from just £7 per day – all fishermen must have a valid rod licence and fishing day ticket, which can be purchased from reception.

Bring your touring caravan and enjoy a quiet break, spending a few days trying your luck on our lake!

Our lake has plenty of carp, perch, tench & roach for you to try and hook, with sizes up to 20lb
